Breeze's story keeps changing, so here's the latest on her.  She has been patiently waiting for her new home since June 2011.  I purchased her with her colt Zephyr at her side from the auction and he is now fully weaned and growing like crazy (also available for adoption).  Her hooves were terrible long & have improved greatly.  I would say that she has very little ground manners and will take someone willing to put the time into her training.  But she does learn quickly.  She is easy to catch, and she is coming around more with me, and has now learned what treats are!

The location where she came from there was a stud running in the field with the horses & foals (crazy)..  So, it is now very obvious to myself and our vet that Breeze is again in foal to the same stud as Zephyr's sire (an Appendix/Paint).   The approximate foaling date would be April 15, 2012.

She is a good mother, protective of her baby, but allowed me in to handle him when they were together.  I would say she has been more as a broodmare without a ton of handling and no so much being ridden.  But that's not to say with patience & training she wouldn't come along fine.  Her other colt Zephyr has turned out to be just a friendly cuddly good looking little colt, and I can only assume the next one will as well.

HOUSING: She lives outside 24/7 with shelter. Doesn't mind a stall, but wants company in the barn with her.  Not so sure of being blanketed.

HEALTH:  Mare is healthy.

PREVIOUS TRAINING/HISTORY: Auction stated that she was previously ridden. 

FUTURE: He would make a great sport horse or dressage horse, beautiful floaty mover. Gets along well with Geldings, Mares and Donkeys. Loves the attention of being brushed & gentle handling.

SHE TIES, LEADS, EASY TO CATCH, STANDS WELL FOR GROOMING, VET.  TRAILERS VERY WELL.

Breeze really is a sweet girl with a wonderful personality. Is getting to loves attention more each day. Was fairly shy when she first arrived, but is slowing coming around and easier to catch with trust.
