UTD Wormer

Update:  We had her first trim done here with sedating her, they are definately getting much better, but will take more trims.  She is not walking on her ankles anymore at least.

We purchased Co-Co from auction, as no one else even wanted to bid on her!  She is very cute & couldn't leave her there to be shipped off to a meat dealer.
She is a very sweet, quiet, adorable mule, but has not been handled much (if at all).  She has come around quite a bit since being here, but will take more time to become really friendly.  She now brays for our attention.

FUTURE:  She requires someone to spend the time to tame her more (Excellent Parelli Training Project for the right person).  She is a Ferral mule.

LAMENESS:  Her hooves had never been trimmed since birth (by looking at them).  We had to have the vet here to tranquilize Co-Co while our great farrier spent 2 1/2 hours completing her first trim.  Her before & after pics are attached.  It will take more time for the hooves to look great, but can now walk, compared to her walking on her heels before.  She will be ouchy for awhile as she gets some feeling back into her little hooves.

We have had her outside in a small paddock as well as being in a stall (which she doesn't mind).  Would make a great companion to horses or as a guard to protect young foals against coyotes.

She too has been abandoned and sadly negleted and is in dire need of a good home and family.
