We purchased him from auction last September and has been fostered off-site since December 2010.  Their children have been riding him, but are sadly outgrowing him.

Cricket is a wonderful quiet kid's first pony.  He's been handled by kids his whole life and enjoys it. He enjoys being brushed & loved by everyone. Good for the farrier.  Easy to catch.

He is also a good pasture pal as he is friendly with other horses and dogs.  Very low end of pecking order.

Makes a great riding or leadline pony, very quiet under saddle - Has attended lots of childrens camps!   He would be suitable for light riding at a walk, trot, but doesn't seem too interested in cantering anymore.


PLEASE CONSIDER GIVING CRICKET A PERMANENT LOVING HOME.

He is currently located at a foster home not far from our location.

Here are a few shots that we took today (JUL-11) of Cricket. I hope they do the trick to find him a great home – he does deserve it. I really do bet he was a fantastic pony in his day and would still give a light use home a lot of enjoyment.
