When we refer to "rescue", we are talking about a horse for whatever the circumstance/reason can no longer be kept by its current owner.  It may be a terrible case of neglect or it could be that the horse is no longer capable of being cared for by its present owner.  Sometimes the owners want the horse to go to a home that they know they can trust such as us.  Whatever the reason, if an owner can no longer keep a horse or is experiencing issues that make horse ownership difficult, we try to step in.
